Food Production Operative AM

A great opportunity to work as a Food Production Operative at our clients busy factory, producing and packing gammon and bacon.

Staffline are recruiting for Food Production Operatives in Whitefield

The hours of work are: (45 minute break is included)
- Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm
- Friday 7am to 4pm

The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour.

Overtime is paid after 42.5 hour
- £19.50 per hour
- £26.00 per hour (Sunday)

Your Time at Work

As a Food Production Operative your role will include:

- Preparing pork for smoking, curing or drying into gammon and bacon joints nusing metapress and injectors to produce the product and packing onto racks
- Packing joints into boxes and packets to be sent to customer
- Hygiene Cleaning the factory and equipment
- Loading trays into large industrial machine
- Heavy lifting in all areas of the factory is required - Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness procedures are followed at all times (e.g. hand-washing, knife sterilizing and kit wash-down), food safety is a key imperative
- Competently performing any other tasks for which training has been completed and signed off
- Being an ambassador for the business at all times, behaving in a professional and courteous manner with both internal and external customers
- Strict adherence to Health Safety rules and procedures.
