We're urgently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy and growing operation in Sherburn in Elmet. Due to increased customer demand throughout our peak trading period, we're offering enhanced seasonal rates and guaranteed ongoing work for experienced Class 2 drivers.

Peak Pay Rates Available Now

Enhanced rates available until 9th January 2027:

Monday to Friday AM: £17.20 per hour
Monday to Friday PM: £18.26 per hour
Saturday: £19.67 per hour
Sunday: £20.56 per hour
Bank Holidays: £21.46 per hour

Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25

Minimum 6 months experience required for this role

Normal PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 2 driver are as follows:
(These rates will be reinstated in January)

Days: £15.45 per hour
Nights £16.51 per hour
Saturday: £17.92 per hour
Sunday: 18.81 per hour
Bank Holiday: £19.81 per hour

Your Time at Work

You'll be delivering goods to commercial and retail customers using modern 18T and 7.5T vehicles across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

Duties Include:
Multi-drop deliveries to retail and commercial sites
Delivering pallets, cages and dollies
Vehicle safety inspections and walk-round checks
Using handheld scanners for PODs, collections and returns
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Shift Information
Monday to Friday work available
Early starts between 03:00 and 07:00
Average shift length of 10 hours
Weekend overtime opportunities available
Ongoing work throughout peak period

Our Perfect Worker

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience preferred
No more than 6 licence points
Reliable and professional approach
Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries
