New Permanent Job Opportunity alert,  for an experienced, qualified, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Our Ideal candidate is Electrical Bias, and you will have worked in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be confident in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Mechanical: Pneumatic/Hydraulics/conveyor systems, Electrical: Single and 3 phase motors/Servo drives/PLCs-Siemens and Allen Bradley

This role would suit an applicant who has worked in FMCG, Logistics, fast paced automation with a keen interest in emerging technologies

You must be able to work a 2 shift pattern

Rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday-Hello weekends!!!

Salary,£49,275, inclusive of shift allowance,  plus great Benefits

 

In your role as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Complete maintenance using a multi skilled approach.
  • PPM and Reactive maintenance
  • Continually seek ways to improve all processes and procedures relating to the maintenance of equipment.
  • Support site Reliability agenda: Identification of failure modes and trends, complete root cause analysis processes and drive the agreed actions.
  • Provide support to site Project and Change Initiatives as appropriate.
  • Ensure all tasks are risk assessed through site specific or dynamic risk assessments.
  • Report all maintenance tasks on CMMS system as required and to the correct standard. Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
  • CI application and project work.
  • Raising PO's

To be considered for the Multi Skilled Engineer:Good communication

  • Strong safety mindset and understanding of safety procedures and regulations
  • Adaptable and flexible attitude
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Electrical, Instrumentation, Control System and Mechanical Engineering skill set.
  • Strong Fault-Finding abilities (electrical, mechanical, PLC)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Ability to Shut down & start up equipment safely
  • General maintenance workshop skills, e.g. grinding, drilling, machining etc.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 or BTEC in Electrical Engineering as a minimum, with a Mechanical qualification- Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • City and Guilds apprenticeship
