Great opportunity to work as a General Operative for a luxury chocolate production factory.
Staffline is recruiting general operatives for an immediate start in Orton, Peterborough.
You must have your own transport to and from the site.
This is a full-time role working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- Days 7am to 3pm
The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour.
Your Time at Work
As a General Operative, your duties will include:
- Placing pre-wrapped chocolate bars into outer sleeves
- Marking the dates on finished products
- Assembling packaging
- Ensuring the product is ready for distribution
- Working on a production line
- Following strict food safety standards
- Upholding a 'clean as you go' policy

Our ideal General Operative will have a strong mix of practical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be comfortable standing for long periods of time and carrying out repetitive tasks without losing focus. You will need to be a team player and communicate effectively with colleagues.
A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic are essential, with a focus on maintaining high standards and efficiency throughout your shift.
Previous experience working in a similar environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
