We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Controller to join the Allied Universal team, working for a high-profile corporate client in London. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in security operations, access control, and CCTV monitoring.

As a Security Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring the access control and CCTV systems, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals on-site. You will coordinate and escalate responses to incidents, proactively uphold site regulations, and support overall security operations.

Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotation - Day Shifts (flexibility is required for night shifts, when operationally needed).
Location: London
Pay rate: £13.97

For this position, we will require you to hold a valid SIA CCTV License.

Your Time at Work
- CCTV & Access Control Monitoring - Operate and monitor all CCTV and access control systems effectively, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and GDPR regulations.
- Incident Response & Coordination - Deploy and coordinate security staff in response to incidents, ensuring robust evidence gathering, conducting dynamic risk assessments, and keeping key personnel informed.
- Health & Safety Compliance - Ensure all site rules, regulations, and safety standards are upheld at all times, adhering to Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Fire System Monitoring - Monitor fire systems, respond to fire alarm activations, and ensure faults and incidents are properly logged.
- Control Room Equipment Maintenance - Conduct regular checks on CCTV and other control room equipment to ensure they remain fully operational.
- Access & Key Control - Issue radios, passes, and keys to authorized personnel, maintaining accurate logs of all transactions.
- Safety & Emergency Checks - Perform regular checks on emergency telephones, lift emergency systems, and fire exits, reporting and logging any faults.
- Incident Investigation Support - Assist in investigations using CCTV footage, providing clear and accurate reports for security management.
- Record-Keeping & Handover - Maintain detailed records of incidents and actions taken, ensuring a comprehensive handover for security management.
- Out-of-Hours Access Control - Oversee site access during non-operational hours, ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry.
- Support to Security Management - Assist the Management Team with any additional duties as required.

Key Information and Benefits
Excellent salary of £13.97 per hour.
