We have a great opportunity to join the team as a Security Officer working for a well-known company in Surrey.

The rate of the pay is £12.24 per hour.

The shift pattern will be on a relief style basis, on a 0-hour contract per week, however, there is scope for full time hours to support on other contracts in the area. This means we require flexibility Monday to Sunday on a day/night shift rotation.

When on site you will be covering the following shift timings. Day shifts 07:00-19:00. Night Shift 19:00-07:00.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

Day Shift:

• Security/concierge, working in a team of 3
• Meet and greeting visitors, contractors, and tenants
• All individuals coming to the site need to be verified by checking the access card or ID
• Patrolling the site internally and externally, showing a visual presence
• Responding to emails from colleagues in a professional manner. Monitoring and managing visitors and contractors on the TDS system (visitor management)
• Monitoring and responding to alarms

Night Shift:

• Creating temporary passes for the next day, ensuring the correct access is given
• Operation of the main gate to let in tenants and contractors onto site, making sure everyone is verified before access is granted
• Out-of-hours water checks of the building making sure there are no leaks, to prevent any loss of equipment
• Call the on-duty engineer if there are any emergency incidents found, such as a water or gas leak
• Daily reports to be sent to the distribution list, such as CCTV checks
• Checking and emptying the confidential bins

Our Perfect Worker

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA License and have experience working in the security industry.

You must have a driving license and access to your own vehicle due to the location being in a rural area.
