We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our clients team in Bristol. If you have a passion for servicing and repairing Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Forklift Trucks (Diesel, Electric, LPG), we want to hear from you!
Key Details:
- Location: Bristol
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (weekends and bank holidays off!)
- Salary: £35,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience
- Vehicle Provided: Full UK Driving Licence required
- Overtime Opportunities: Occasional availability
Your New Role:
As a skilled Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing Forklift Trucks to high industry standards
- Ensuring repair specifications are followed accurately
- Completing tasks within set timeframes
- Sourcing and comparing parts and consumables from local suppliers
- Completing Service and Thorough Examination reports
- Managing and maintaining van stock to agreed levels
- Conducting quarterly van stock takes
- Fitting parts and returning parts as required
- Reporting service updates to the office to maintain efficient scheduling
- Correctly disposing of waste oil, filters, rags, scrap, and batteries
- Providing off-hire reports and quoting for repairs
What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we’re looking for candidates who possess:
- Knowledge of a wide range of MHE products
- Experience in the repair of Forklift Trucks (Diesel, Electric, LPG)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication skills with staff and senior management
- Customer-facing, professional, and presentable
- LOLER Inspection and FLT Licence required
- A Full UK Driving Licence
