REGULAR SHUNTING WORK AVAILABLE WITH IMMEDIATE START FOR MONDAY TO FRIDAY DAYS - 10 HOUR SHIFTS - 10:00 until 20:00
For this position, you must hold previous Terberg Tug shunting experience!
Guaranteed shift pattern until the end of December - Seasonal work
Monday to Friday rota. 10:00 - 20:00 shifts. 10 hour shifts.
We are currently recruiting a HGV Class 1 shunter driver to be based on site at Burton-on-Trent.
PAYE pay rates for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:
Days (06:00 - 18:00 Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 13:59 Fridays) - £19.00 per hour
Nights (18:00 - 06:00 Monday to Thursday) £20.00 per hour
Weekends (Friday 14:00 to Sunday 23:59) - £22.00 per hour
Bank Holiday Days - £22.00 per hour
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 shunter driver, the work will involve shunting work, ensuring health and safety is followed at all time. Shifts are 10 hours in length and breaks are paid. This site operates during the seasonal peak but Staffline do have other local sites which operate all year round and will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignments. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you.

As an HGV1 shunter driver, you will ideally have -
- Previous Terberg Tug Shunting is essential for this role.
- No more than 6 points
- C+E Licence entitlement
- Digi card and DCPC
