Great opportunity to work as an FLT Driver for our client's busy logistics site.

Staffline is recruiting FLT Drivers in Daventry.

The rate of pay is:
- Days £14.63 per hour
- Nights £18.01 per hour

Overtime is available and is paid at:
- Days £21.40 per hour
- Nights £24.78 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 4 on 4 off, the hours of work are:
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am

Experienced applicants are needed with an FLT certificate.

Your Time at Work

As a FLT Driver, the main task assigned by the client involves sorting pallets by color as they are loaded onto lorries. With three different pallet colors coming out of the warehouse, it's crucial to carefully organise and store them. Patience is key in this process, as safety plays a significant role. Working in a team of two, clear communication and collaboration are essential to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Handling the pallets requires a focused approach, with particular attention to safety procedures. It's important to take time with the process, avoiding any rushed movements to ensure a safe and efficient workflow. Keeping the work area organised and free from hazards will help prevent accidents.

Once the pallets are sorted, they need to be stored in the correct areas, ensuring everything is properly organized for easy access and future loading. Maintaining a well-structured system for storage will contribute to a smooth and efficient operation.

Our perfect worker will need to have driving knowledge also will be very careful and patient.

You will have an FLT certificate and experience in a similar role.
