Packing Operative- Afternoons

Apply today to work as a Packing Operative for our client's busy distribution center.

Staffline is recruiting for Packing Operatives in Westerleigh.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday shifts.

The working hours are 2pm-11pm working fixed afternoon shifts.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Due to a remote location of the factory own transport is desirable.

Your Time at Work

As a Packing Operative at this site, your duties will include:

- Picking and packing packs of meat into boxes
- Stacking and loading boxes
- Carrying boxes weighing up to 25kg

As a Packing Operative at this site your duties will be working on a production line, working with pork products and packing meat.

You will also be required to load, unload and complete other general warehouse duties.

Our Perfect Worker

You'll be happy to work in a food processing environment, where you will be required to handle raw meat and work around blood in certain areas of the site.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while standing for the duration of your shift. You'll also be confident with lifting products that weigh up to 25kg regularly.

Maintain clean working practices to prevent slips and trips and avoid cross-contamination

You will work as part of a team.
