Staffline are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our well-known client from their distribution centre in Octavian Park, Wellingborough.
Work Days: Sunday to Thursday
Pay Rates are as follows:
- Monday to Friday: £17.18 per hour
- Sunday: £20.30 per hour + £50 shift bonus
- Overnights: £30 per night + parking expenses covered
Your Time at Work
- Deliveries to Homebase stores, primarily in retail parks
- Palletised deliveries, with drivers assisting by using a pump truck to move pallets to the rear of the trailer (store uses FLT for unloading)
- Start times between 04:00 AM and 09:00 AM
- Shifts average 10-11 hours, with longer shifts available upon request
- Routes are allocated 24 hours in advance, with full DPRAs, route guidance, and in-cab communication systems provided
- Drivers are assigned clean vehicles and pull customer-branded trailers
- 2-day induction program, including buddying with qualified driver instructors if needed

What are we looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver ?
- Valid CPC and DIGI card
- No more than 6 points
- 3 months experience
