Machine Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Machine Operator for our client JDM. JDM is one of the leading suppliers of fresh Garlic and Ginger to UK retailers. Due to successful growth & continuous innovation, JDM can also offer an array of raw ingredients: peeled, sliced, diced, pureed, roasted, chargrilled, caramelised, and smoked! Resulting in delicious sauces, dressings, and marinades.

Staffline is recruiting for a Machine Operators in Boston.

This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts, 4 on 4 off, the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm

The rate of pay is £13.08 per hour with overtime available at £16.35 per hour.

Your Time at Work
As a Machine Operator, your duties will include:

- Setting up and starting multiple machinery at the start of the shift.
- Monitoring of the machinery throughout the shift and during production runs.
- Checking machine settings, film, print, dates, weights, and codes.
- Checking the production plan and inputting of batch ingredients for the production runs.
- Ordering packaging and product

Depending on the specific department, there may be some lifting involved, up to 20kg. Not all departments have heavy lifting.

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Machine Operative will have experience within a manufacturing environment You must be competent with completing paperwork accurately. You will need to be attentive to detail and be able to follow recipe mixes with care.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
