Role: Supply Chain Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Leader to join a globally reaching manufacturing business.
You will be overseeing a team of 4 (Production Planner, Warehouse Manager, Customer Service Manager, Supply Chain Support)
Duties
- Forecasting levels of demands for products & budgeting.
- Develop strategies to ensure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met.
- Undertake value for money reviews of existing supplier contracts.
- Develop a comprehensive company purchasing strategy
- Capturing manufacturing costs – analysing organisational spend
- Produce supplier reports and statistics on spend by supplier/product
- Analyse company overheads spend and produce & implement a cost reduction plan.
- Manage preferred suppliers in terms of value, support and capability.
- Build & Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate and agree contracts & purchasing agreements.
- Deliver structured procurement and buying processes.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
- Work with operations in regard to Non-Conformance – supplier related issues.
Requirements
- MRP and ERP system experience
- Experience within a Manufacturing/Engineering business (Desirable)
- Experience of Production scheduling (Desirable)
