Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our client based in Basildon.
PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:
- Mornings (04:00-09:59) - £17.71 per hour
- Days (10:00 - 17:59) - £18.37 per hour
- Nights (18:00 - 03:59) - £19.05 per hour
- Weekly OT Mornings, after 45 hours worked - £22.14 per hour
- Weekly OT Days, after 45 hours worked - £22.96 per hour
- Weekends OT Nights, after 45 hours worked - £ £23.81 per hour
- Bank Holiday Mornings - £26.57 per hour
- Bank Holiday Days - £27.56 per hour
- Bank Holiday Nights - £28.58 per hour
We are delighted to offer full time regular ongoing work and shifts are available on all start times across 7 days a week. 45 minutes break paid, a minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Assessments available immediately and if successful, induction day paid. Regular weekend work available too.

Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve delivering retail items to stores throughout the South East, meeting delivery schedules. You will be required to carry out thorough pre and post trip vehicle checks and also some collections if necessary. No deduction of break will apply. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you. Weekend work available and part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.

We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.

Our Perfect Worker
As an HGV LGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have -
- 6 months HGV driving experience
- No more than 6 points
- Digi card and DCPC
