Job Title: Electrical Bias Shift Engineer
Location: Peterborough Cambridge area
Job Reward: £55,000 plus package and overtime
Full Time - Permanent

We are now recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join us, reporting to the Engineering Manager you will work as part of the engineering teams to reduce production downtime & improve processes at a large, busy, large manufacturing site.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Electrical Bias Shift Engineer
- Working with automated machinery processing and packaging products
- Take ownership of engineering tasks and responsibilities
- Manage and monitor PPM adherence
- Respond to breakdowns as identified by Engineering or Production Operations
- Find solutions to problems in engineering to support production
- Identify and order spares to facilitate plant efficiency
- Work shifts that will also include weekend work, but you will have every other weekend off!
Experience and Attributes required: Electrical Bias Shift Engineer
- Qualified in an Electromechanical engineering discipline, NVQ level equivalent
- A Maintenance engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or have over five years’ experience in industry, is ideal
- Flexible, reliable and confident in making time sensitive decisions
- Confident communicating with others
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines in a site factory environment
- Able to demonstrate bench fitting skills and ideally machining and/or welding
- Comfortable with working on electrical circuits and PLC controlled processes
- Experienced within the manufacturing industry preferred
