Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Dursley
Pay Range/details: £13.61 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a trainee Machine Operator to join their spinning department. The position is full time on double day shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract. Full training will be given due to company processes but ideally you will have a manufacturing or engineering background with machine operating experience.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator
- Supporting Machinists with materials
- Operating machines
- Ensuring all products produced meet company standards
- Quality checking products
- Reporting any defects to Supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Operator
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
What we can offer – Machine Operator
- Weekly rotating shift between: AM - Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-2:00pm & Friday, 6:00am-1:00pm and PM - Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm-10:00pm & Friday, 1:00pm-8:00pm
- Onsite parking
- Temporary to permanent position for the right candidate
